UI/UX Designer Core Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project goals, and create user-centric wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Lead design workshops to translate business objectives into visually engaging and functional user interfaces. Apply UX best practices and usability heuristics to ensure streamlined, accessible, and inclusive experiences for all users.
Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing to validate design decisions. Iterate on designs based on feedback and data insights, ensuring continuous improvement. Contribute to and maintain design systems to ensure brand consistency and scalability across our products. Advocate for accessible and responsive design throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills and Qualifications for UI/UX Design
- Proven experience designing end-to-end digital experiences across web and mobile platforms
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
- Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and ability to analyze and present findings
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience
Preferred UI/UX Experience and Exposure
- Background with motion design, illustration, or branding
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or front-end frameworks
- Experience conducting A/B tests and leveraging analytics for product enhancement
- Participation in agile, lean, or cross-functional teams
